Why a Computer Tutor Can Help Your Child

Why a Computer Tutor Can Help Your ChildYou may want to get a computer tutor for your child. Getting a computer tutor can give you the opportunity to have someone with expertise on computers to help your child use them and get them started in a good school. Parents of preschool kids can have their children tested by computer tutors to make sure that they are up to the skills level that is expected. So, why is it that children need a computer tutor?Children need this kind of support, because they use it all the time, from playing games to doing homework. The computer can be used to help with a number of things that kids use it for. They can study in the computer lab, study for tests, and even write assignments. Because of all the extra use the computer has, it is important to have someone to help your child use it correctly. In addition to having your child tested by a computer tutor, you can get assistance by setting up a group of students to work together and use the computer togethe r. This way you can monitor how they use it, how much they learn and how well they perform. You can then use that information to help you decide what areas you need more help with and what your child needs to do more of.It can be hard to make changes when your child is learning, but a teacher can help you set it up. If you are not in charge of hiring a teacher, then your child will know where the teachers stand and what they are expected to teach. It can be easier to show your child how to work together and help them progress if the teacher knows the responsibilities of working with them.If you are looking for help to get your child ready for the next school year, then you should consider a computer tutor. While your child can work on things on their own, they cannot learn at the same rate that they would be able to without help. Plus you can get some extra help in other areas as well. Before you hire a computer tutor, try to schedule a meeting with your child to discuss what the tut oring will consist of. This will help you understand how your child's learning will change so that you can set it up right. Also, ask what type of help that they are looking for and what they are expecting. Then determine if there are areas that need more help or areas that your child can work on their own.Getting a computer tutor can be beneficial and a positive experience for your child. You will know that your child is getting the help they need and that they are learning as much as they need to get through school. If you have more questions, then you can contact a local computer tutor.

College Essay Applications Why YOU Need an Editor

College Essay Applications Why YOU Need an Editor ACT SAT Prep and College Admissions Blog What are you selling? When you are preparing to submit your college applications, keep in mind that what you’re selling is YOU. Figuratively speaking, of course. Think of the college app process in the same way as applying for a job. You want to make a great first impression, don’t you? That means taking the time to carefully read about the application process for each school to which you apply. (No. They are not all the same.) Having the required test scores and GPA are the first hurdles. The next hurdle? Choosing a prompt and writing an essay. Or writing several essays. So, how and where do you begin? And how do you know if you’ve written a fresh, unique essay? You need an editor. A good editor makes corrections on your draft. A great editor personally invests in you, understands the college application process and the nuances of it, works with you from concept to conclusion, and can guide you through the writing process, capitalizing on your strengths and transforming your challenges. I’ve been asked many times as an editor, Does the essay really matter? The answer is a resounding, Yes! Especially to schools where the admissions selection is highly competitive. You must take writing your essay(s) very seriously. That means preparing to write early. As soon as the College Board releases the prompts. Many schools require supplemental essays tailored specifically to them. Don’t wait until the day submissions are due to start writing. You will not do your best work. If you are only applying to schools that accept the Common App, you will have a choice of seven prompts from which to choose one. What if none of the prompts resonates with you? Part of what I do as an editor is work with students to guide them in selecting and narrowing a topic and get their creative juices flowing. This process is different for each person. Some of your peers can read the prompts and quickly realize that something speaks to them. Don’t get frustrated if this doesn’t happen for you. You will get there. Sometimes the route from point A to point B is direct and sometimes there are detours with scenery that need to be taken in. The common thread is that no matter your writing skills, you can benefit from a professional editor. Even AP English students and valedictorians need guidance from a professional. Although I have worked with students at different stages in their writing processes, I encourage you to work with an editor before you have completed a first draft to ensure that you are on the right path. I know it can be disappointing to finish a draft only to learn that you didn’t address the prompt. If you are considering working with an editor, start the conversation from the planning stage. I offer a 15-minute complimentary consultation, which is a great opportunity to share preliminary thoughts. I can also review a writing sample to assess your writing skills before I even start the clock! Shop around. There are lots of editors out there and, like many services these days, plenty of them can work remotely with you. Your English teachers should be your best first resource, but you may need to reach out beyond them. Their free time is valuable (I know because I used to be one) and they may not have the luxury of giving your essay the time and attention it needs. Some students hope their guidance or college counselor can provide feedback, but you are probably better served by an editor. You wouldn’t go to a dentist to get an eye exam. Don’t go to a counselor to edit your essay. Same goes with relatives and family pets! When applying to your dream school, remember that you are presenting the best version of yourself. Why not use the best resources? We know in these kind of events that, sadly, the death toll goes up historically, Houston police Chief Art Acevedo told The Associated Press. Im really worried about how many bodies were going to find. Harvey, which went from hurricane to tropical storm to massive rainstorm, is expected to continue to bring rain to the deluged area all the way through Friday. President Trump plans to visit the hard-hit areas for briefings today. This is the first time his administration has had to respond to a natural disaster. Vox has put together a useful list detailing where you can donate to help with disaster relief and recovery. The flooding is causing major problems for colleges and universities in the area, as well, reports Inside Higher Ed. Should you take your pet abroad with you

Should you take your pet abroad with you By Thiago SilvaPreparing to move in your own town can be daunting enough - now imagine having to pack everything and move to another country! When choosing to teach overseas most people get excited about the opportunity to have the adventure of a lifetime, and might overlook some of  the practical aspects of relocating.Aside from cancelling your cable and forwarding your mail, there are some important decisions to make when planning to move overseas. If you have a pet, for example, you should evaluate if the best option is to take Fido along or leave him with a relative or friend.Taking a pet overseas can be a costly and paper-work heavy endeavour as many countries will require vaccination certificates, and the airline may charge extra to transport the animal depending on their size. It is also stressful for most pets to travel long distances in a cage. The local culture at your destination should also be taken into account. In the Middle East, for example, it is not common for peopl e to own pets, so it is harder to do simple things such as finding pet food, or veterinary services.Other countries might have less strict requirements. Mona Lisa Wessel, who lived in Japan, mentioned in the Teach Away community page that she was able to transport her pet between Canada and Japan with relative ease.“Japan is very good about letting you bring in your pets if you can prove they have had their rabies shots within 60 days of arrival,” she said. You should also check if your chosen accommodation allows you to have pets, as many places will not allow pets, especially in situations where you are sharing accommodations with other teachers.Ultimately, it is a very personal decision whether bringing a pet overseas is the best option, but if you can’t live without your four-legged friend, you will have to do some research about the laws in your destination country and evaluate if the extra expense and time to care for the pet will not hinder your plans to save money and t ravel. You can read about other teachers’ experiences in taking pets abroad on Teach Away’s Facebook page and community forums.Thiago Silva is the  Teach Away  blogger.

Budgeting while teaching in Korea

Budgeting while teaching in Korea A lot of people will agree that one of the major reasons people choose to teach English in Korea is… the money. Of course, the culture, food, experience and all that is great too. But Korea is one of the few countries in the world that offers such great teaching contracts that require little to no teaching experience or qualifications. I taught in Korea for a year between 2013-2014 and it was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Not only did I grow as a person (cheesy, but true), I was also able to pay off about $6500 of my student debt and have cash for a 4 month backpacking stint across Southeast Asia. Today I’m sharing with you my personal spending habits and expenses from when I was living in Seoul, South Korea, so you get a better understanding of how much money you can expect to save and spend while you’re there. Of course, some of this will vary, but this is a general expectation for teachers who are about to embark on the Korea experience. You could save more or less depending on how frugal you are. Sure, you want to save money - but you’re also in a really interesting and exciting part of the world and there’s so much to do and see. Keep your spending in check but make sure to enjoy yourself and the money you’re working hard to earn. Income My average monthly income was $1650 USD per month. I was a university graduate with no teaching experience and I think this is pretty average for someone with similar experience and qualifications. While it’s possible to earn more, this was more than enough for me to live comfortably. Accommodation I lived in a small, studio apartment that was paid for by my school, with my bills/taxes/health insurance taken out of my pay every month. To be honest, I can’t remember how much it all cost but it was never more than $150 in total. Transit Thanks to the convenient location of my apartment, I walked to work everyday and only used transit on the weekends. With the subway costing about $1 per ride, I probably spent a maximum of $20 a month for the subway. Phone $0 - Can you believe I survived an entire year without a phone plan? Thanks to wifi being so widespread in Seoul I got by just fine without a phone plan and just connected my iPhone to wifi whenever I needed. Groceries I spent an average of $326/month on groceries and that included some specialty, expensive “foreign” food like cheese and avocados because hey - I like that stuff! Shopping I was able to feed my shopping addiction with about $250/month. Entertainment My partying and entertainment spending was around $225/month (this also included weekend trips). I mostly went out with friends for drinks/karaoke on the weekends and didn’t do much during the week because a) I was lazy and b) didn’t finish work until around 8:30pm. Miscellaneous I also spent about $100 on miscellaneous things per month and this number fluctuated a fair bit. Stuff like haircuts, prescription medication, gym memberships, taxis and gifts were thrown into this category. Eating Out Coffee, snacks, fast food and an occasional dinner out made up this category and I spent about $60 a month. Total Savings per Month Income $1650 Accommodation $0 Transit $20 Phone $0 Groceries $326 Shopping $250 Entertainment $225 Misc. $100 Eating Out $60 Total savings/month $669 So there you have it! I had the most amazing time while I was teaching in Korea and would recommend the experience to anyone and everyone. So what are you waiting for? Check out our job board and start applying!

What Is RCC Tutoring Pay?

What Is RCC Tutoring Pay?RCC tutoring pay is calculated as the average weekly salary of a tutor. For example, if you have a position that requires weekly payments of $250, you would receive a stipend for that week of your salary. As there are many different tutors who can teach a large number of students, it is crucial to be aware of the exact rate of pay.Due to the online nature of the application process for an RCC tutor position, there is no 'hard' money involved. Thus, not all tutors will receive the same amount. It's always a good idea to submit a resume and cover letter to RCC, so that they may determine whether you're the best person for the job. Although they will contact you with pay, it is a good idea to get a feel for the rates of pay before approaching a new employer. The cost of the course itself is dependent on the region of the country where you live, but also on the program offered by RCC. For example, a basic program would cost more than a basic online course. Because you'll probably be required to attend a few meetings, it is a good idea to prepare yourself well enough to represent your school successfully. Even if you have completed your tutor degree from another institution, the initial fee can still be prohibitively expensive. One of the advantages of RCC tutoring pay is that there are no expectations associated with completing a course. If you are busy and have other commitments, it's a good idea to put your full focus into your chosen course. After all, the teacher does not care about your financial situation. In the event that you miss a payment, the offer to resume at a later date is still very much open. Your overall grades will be judged in the end.To receive a stipend, RCC tutors will offer to accept you for classes as long as you complete the program. It is advised that you take advantage of their generous payment options to supplement your other student-related expenses. A part-time income might be your best option to cover such thin gs as books, fees, and transportation.Tutoring Pay will not be a problem if you have adequate funds to cover the fees and other expenses. Most tutors will accept you for any schedule or class and will explain the rates of pay to you prior to enrolling you in the program. RCC has many opportunities available to those who want to earn money by teaching. There are many online courses to choose from and many people have successfully made money online through these courses. All you need to do is find a program that interests you, or enroll in a tutor training program. These training programs provide a comprehensive overview of the business of tutoring. From getting accepted to pay a stipend, to how to give presentations, you will learn the ropes of becoming a professional tutor. Many tutors can even design a special program just for you!

Calculus Problem Solver

Calculus Problem Solver Calculus Problem Solver is the tool to solve the calculus problem specially the problems related to differential calculus problems and integral calculus problems. This tool uses the well defined formulas of differential calculus and integral calculus. Based on the formulas the evaluation of differential calculus and integral calculation can be done in a very shorter period of time. Not only this, this tool is used to solve the complex equations in an easy manner. This can be more under stable by taking the relevant examples below. Example 1:- Find the derivative of the function y, if y = 4x3 Solution 1:- Given function is y = 4x3 To find: - d/dx 4x3 We know that, d/dx (cxn) = c ( nxn-1) Therefore, d/dx 4x3= 4 d/dx (x3) So d/dx 4x3= 4.(3 x3-1) Therefore, d/dx 4x3= 12 x2 Hence d/dx 4x3= 12 x2. This is the differential calculus problem solver. Here we have solved one important part of calculus which is known as differential calculus. Example 2:- Find the integration of x2 + x4 dx Solution 2:- Given function are x2 + x4 Here we have to find the integration of x2 + x4. Now we know that,xn.dx = xn+1/ n+1 + c, Here c is constant of integration Therefore, x2 + x4 dx = x2+1/2+1+ x4+1/4+1 + c So the integration of x2 + x4 dx = x3/3 + x5/5 + c, Here c is constant of integration. And in this example we have found the result of important part of calculus that is known as integral calculus
